The Finance Alliance for Sustainable Trade (FAST) issued a new report analyzing the social, economic and environmental impacts that result from investment in sustainable agriculture SMEs in developing economies globally. The report entitled Investing for Change: An Analysis of the Impacts of Agricultural Investments from Select FAST Social Lenders compiles, for the first time, impact data from a leading group of eight FAST lending members over the 2009-2011 period, drawing data from 417 small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

Financial institutions that contributed data include; Alterfin, Conservation International's Verde Ventures, Idepro, Pro-Rural, responsAbility, Root Capital, Triodos Bank, and Working Capital for Community Needs.
