A Fellowship Approach to Accelerating Social Entrepreneurs

Echoing Green released a white paper about their model of cohort-level support for social entrepreneurs. The white paper, A Fellowship Approach to Accelerating Social Entrepreneurs, reveals important observations and lessons learned from their impact investing inflection cohort, a pilot with the goal of supporting ten alumni of their Fellowship program running for-profit and hybrid social enterprises as they transition from early-stage funding to raising more sophisticated institutional growth capital. The paper examines how their pilot is different than other accelerator models of support, and shares the social entrepreneurs’ data to shed light on how and if the inflection cohort model succeeded in enabling the early-stage social entrepreneurs to grow, attract investment, and deliver impact.
