In this article, Matt Onek of Mission Investors Exchange, provides an overview of a new series in SSIR, which will explore “How Foundations are Shaping the Future of Impact Investing.” In his overview, he provides examples of the various foundations that will be a part of the series, including several GIIN members such as, the Kresge Foundation, Ford Foundation, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Heron Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Omidyar Network, and more. The series will “reflect on four important and related themes driving the increased sophistication and growth of the impact investing field,” such as cross- sector collaborations.
