Small Foundation is a private foundation with the vision of Africa permanently free from extreme poverty and chronic hunger by 2030. We work to catalyse the proliferation of sustainable income-generating opportunities for extremely poor people in rural sub-Saharan Africa by supporting highly-leveraged interventions that improve the business ecosystem for on-farm and off-farm micro, small and medium rural enterprises by expanding access to knowledge, finance, technology, and markets. We aim to do this in ways that are effective, sustainable and scalable.
