GDI is an incubator for transformational social impact ventures, working to build and scale the next generation of solutions to the world's thorniest problems. We select (or originate) ideas and founders for a 12-36 month incubation process across 4 stages: Discover, Design, Build, and Exit. The initiatives we incubate tend to be non-profits or multi-stakeholder initiatives but their endgames vary, and may include leveraging impact investment to get a solution to scale, and achieving sustainability through commercial markets/capital.
