We advise private equity funds, impact investors, local enterprises, development finance institutions, and development organizations seeking to raise or mobilize capital in frontier and emerging markets. In 2015 the firm launched CrossBoundary Energy, an investment vehicle for distributed solar energy that now owns and operates solar installations for African businesses in Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, and beyond. More recently, we are expanding our work in mini grids for rural electrification, including the recent launch with the Rockefeller Foundation of the Sub-Saharan Africa Mini-Grid Innovation Lab.
