The Global Impact Investing Network, Inc. (“GIIN”) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to increasing the scale and effectiveness of impact investing to solve systemic problems facing people and the planet. The GIIN is committed to adhering strictly to the letter and spirit of all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including antitrust and competition laws. All GIIN programs, events, gatherings and publications are designed to provide a forum or means for education and expression of various viewpoints on impact investing and related topics. Participation in or with GIIN or any GIIN program, publication, research, event, gathering, coalition, or initiative is entirely voluntary, and all commitments and actions undertaken by participants are and must remain the product of each participant’s independent judgment and decision-making. Nothing prepared, discussed, or disseminated by, in, at, or in conjunction with GIIN or any GIIN program, publication, research, event, gathering, coalition, or initiative should be used by any participant or recipient to enter into any agreement, understanding, or coordinated action—whether express or implied, formal or informal—with any other participant or third party that would tend to fix prices; allocate markets; restrict investment in or boycott any sector, company, or asset class; restrain trade; or otherwise prevent, restrict, or distort competition. All GIIN members and participants are expected to exercise fully independent judgment regarding all business, investment, and operational matters, including any decisions relating to impact investing; or environmental, social, or governance goals. The GIIN does not mandate, direct, or enforce any particular investment strategy, commitment, or standard of conduct upon its members or participants. Any goals, frameworks, or benchmarks published or discussed by the GIIN are informational and aspirational in nature and do not constitute binding commitments or collective agreements.
