Decision Points: Exploring Key Motivations and Approaches to Building an Impact Investing Practice

On August 14, 2018, the GIIN hosted a webinar called, Decision Points: Exploring Key Motivations and Approaches to Developing an Impact Investing Practice.

During this 1-hour session, the GIIN explored some key choices that impact investors make when developing an impact portfolio. The webinar began with opening remarks from the GIIN’s Managing Director Giselle Leung, followed by a short research presentation by GIIN Research Associate Hannah Dithrich.

The session also included a panel of three leading impact investors who shared insights about their experiences in impact investing—in relation to impact themes, target returns, and asset allocations. This discussion was moderated by GIIN Research Senior Associate Rachel Bass.

These panelists include:

  • Caroline Vance, Director in the Sustainable Investments group at DWS, formerly Deutsche Asset Management
  • Neeraj Aggarwal, Program Director at the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation
  • Daniel Izzo, Co-founder and Executive Director at Vox Capital
